Participation
Fourteen different projects are now running throughout the University sector in England. We are looking for new expressions of interest for next year both from those who want to design their own projects and from those who want to reuse existing projects in their own teaching.

Sheffield pilot
Our second pilot project was an exercise in interpreting metallurgical processes for Sheffield students.
CONTACT survey
In our first year we were in touch with all English departments of Archaeology and Classics to assess the state of material culture teaching practice and to learn about needs in this area. This has helped us to refine our focus and make CONTACT more directly appropriate to what people on the ground actually want.
York pilot
Our first pilot project involved students at the University of York in Roman and medieval material culture studies as part of their first year summer fieldwork programme. |
